About

I work in a computer repair shop in Oregon. I’ve seen a lot of weird stuff over the years working with the public. I posted some of these on reddit recently. There was a lot of positive feedback. Working under the conditions I do has taken a toll on my mental health so I’ve decided to talk about what I’ve witnessed here. These stories are in particular no order. Some of them are from my memory so I recalled them the best I can’t and may not be 100% accurate. Most are from a log I kept at work. I knew some of this stuff is so weird I need to write it down somewhere.

Not everything that’s happened at my job is funny. I’ve been stabbed and shot at before. About once every 2 or 3 months someone pulls a gun on me. I’ve been in countless fights over stuff people should not fight about. I work in a bad area of the town. I’m not ready to just quit yet because of other life problems that leave me here stranded. It’s very complicated and trust me, you aren’t going to walk in my life and just fix it.

I’ve had problems with stalkers in the past so I will no tell you exactly where I work. It’s a place of business not a place for you to come hang out and hope something weird will happen.

I won’t talk about our mentally challenged customers. They do things I consider weird but I understand they can’t help it. I dub it not cool to have a laugh at them. Also I have other customers like the one guy who has OCD. He’s done what people who aren’t used to his condition would consider strange stuff. He can’t help it either and I feel for the guy. I could only imagine how frustrating it would be to have his condition.

The people I talk about are just weird. I don’t use names because I don’t fully understand why they act the way they do. Some made have a condition of some type and I wouldn’t want to draw attention to them personally. So don’t ask for names.

Please forgive my spelling and grammar errors I’m a simple repair man not an author, and enjoy website.
